Update MacOS

Due to changes on how MacOS is being update,updated, you cannot update your school computer by going tointo System Preferences.

So, to help you to keep your Macbook up to date, we have deployed an application in the Self Service app

Once started you cannot stop the processprocess.
anymore.

Follow these steps to update your Macbook:

  • First open the self service app(ISB Icon)Icon in the Dock)
  • Search for the application called MacOS Update and click on install.
  • Enter your password.

If you don't see the pop up, restart your mac.Mac. (Click the Apple logo at the top Left)Left corner, then Restart)

  • The update process will start. If the MacOS Installer is not downloaded, you will see the following message

  • Once the MacosMacOS Installer is downloaded, the update will start and take from 30min to an hour.
